However, an individual may redeem an item pawned 72 <br />hours after the item was received on deposit, excluding Sundays <br />and legal holidays. <br />Section 817.110. Receipt. A licensed secondhand goods <br />dealer or pawnbroker must provide a receipt to the seller or <br />consignor of any items which includes: <br />(a) the address and phone number of the business; <br />(b) the date; <br />(c) a description of the item purchased; and <br />(d) the purchaser's signature. <br />Section 817.115. po7.i e orders. If a Ramsey County deputy <br />notifies a dealer not to sell an item, the item may not be sold <br />or removed from the licensed premises until authorized to be <br />released by the Sheriff's Department. <br />Section 817.120. Weapons. A licensed pawnbroker or <br />secondhand goods dealer may not receive as a pledge or otherwise <br />accept for consignment or sale any revolver, pistol, sawed -off <br />shotgun, automatic rifle, blackjack, switchblade knife, or other <br />similar weapons or firearms. <br />Section 817.125. Prohibited Acts. <br />Subd. 1. Minors. A minor may not sell or consign, or <br />attempt to sell or consign, goods with a secondhand goods <br />dealer or pawnbroker. A secondhand goods dealer or <br />pawnbroker may not receive goods from a minor. <br />Subd. 2. Others. A secondhand goods dealer or pawnbroker <br />may not receive any goods from a person of unsound mind or <br />an intoxicated person. <br />Subd. 3. Identification. A secondhand goods dealer or <br />pawnbroker may not receive goods unless the seller presents <br />identification in the form of a driver's license or other <br />pictured identification. <br />Section 817.130. License Denial, Suspension, or <br />Revocation. A license under this Section may be denied, <br />suspended, or revoked by the Council after a public hearing <br />where the licensee is granted the opportunity to be heard, for <br />one or more of the following reasons: <br />(a) the operation of the business is in conflict with any <br />Page 10 <br />
