MAR -12- 1991 15 :42 FROM SWEENEY & BORER <br />TO LITTLE- CANADA F.10/13 <br />(e) the identification number from any of the forms of <br />identification of the seller: <br />(1) valid picture driver's license; <br />(2) picture identification; <br />(3) Medicard. <br />(f) <br />the books as well as the goods received must be open <br />for inspection by the Ramsey County Sheriff's <br />Department at reasonable times. Records required by <br />this subsection must be stored and maintained by the <br />licensee for a period of at least three years. <br />Section 817.95. Daily Reports. For the following items, <br />regardless of resale price, a secondhand goods dealer or <br />pawnbroker must make out, on forms approved by the police <br />department, and send daily by mail to the police department, a <br />legible description of the goods received during the preceding <br />day, together with the time received and a description of the <br />person from whom the goods were received: <br />(a) items with a serial number identification, or <br />"operation identification" symbol; <br />(b) cameras; <br />(c) electronic audio or video equipment; <br />(d) precious jewelry or gems, and precious metals; <br />(e) artist - signed or artist - attributed works of art; <br />(f) guns and firearms; and <br />(g) items not included in the above, except furniture and <br />kitchen or laundry appliances, which the secondhand <br />goods dealer intends to sell for more than $200.00. <br />Section 817.100. Stolen Goods. A licensed pawnbroker or <br />secondhand goods dealer must report immediately to the Ramsey <br />County Sheriff's Department any article pledged or received, or <br />sought to be pledged or received, if the licensee has reason to <br />believe that the article was stolen or lost. <br />Section 817.105. Holding. An item received by a <br />secondhand goods dealer or pawnbroker, for which a report to the <br />police is required, may not be sold or otherwise transferred for <br />a period of 30 days after the date of such report to the <br />Page 9 <br />
