MAR -12 -1991 15:41 FROM SWEENEY & BORER <br />Tn LITTLE- CRNADR P.n9.'13 <br />Section 817.70. License Limitations. A license will be <br />issued to the applicant only, and only for the business premises <br />as described in the application. The license is effective only <br />for the premises specified in the approved license application. <br />Section 817.75. Term; Expiration; Pro Rata Fee. The <br />license is issued for a period of one year beginning on January <br />1 except that if the application is made during the license year <br />a license may be issued for the remainder of the license year <br />for a monthly pro rata fee. An unexpired fraction of a month <br />will be counted as a complete month. The license expires on <br />December 31. <br />Section 817.80. Refunds. <br />rata share of the license fee <br />the licensee's estate if: <br />(a) the business ceases <br />or damage; <br />(b) the licensee dies; <br />(c) the business ceases to be lawful for a reason other <br />than a license revocation; or <br />The City Clerk will refund a pro <br />for a license to the licensee or <br />to operate because of destruction <br />(d) the licensee ceases to carry on the licensed business <br />under the license. <br />Section 817.85. Death of Licensee. In the case of death <br />of a licensee, the personal representative of the licensee may <br />continue operation of the business for not more than 90 days <br />after the licensee's death. <br />Section 817.90. Records: A licensed secondhand goods <br />dealer and pawnbroker, at the time of receipt of an item, must <br />immediately record, in ink or other indelible medium in a book <br />or word processing unit, the following information: <br />(a) an accurate description of the item including, but not <br />limited to, any trademark, identification number, <br />serial number, model number, brand name, or other <br />identifying mark on such item; <br />(b) the purchase price; <br />(c) date, time and place of receipt; <br />(d) name, address and date of birth of the person from <br />whom the item was received; <br />Page 8 <br />
