Hanson <br />Pursuant to action by the Minnesota Legislature whereby <br />they have decreased our 1991 Local Government Aid <br />allocation by approximately $38,000, I am hereby submitting <br />to you my recommended list of cost - saving measures to <br />address this budgetary concern. My recommendations are as <br />follows: <br />* Insurance Costs <br />Actual costs as compared to budget. This amount <br />could possibly be reduced further subject to our <br />worker's compensation renewal and any dividends <br />made by the League of Minnesota Cities during <br />1991. This reduction could also be viewed as the <br />elimination of the City's umbrella coverage. <br />Planner's Staff Time <br />Reduced Planner's scheduled City office time from <br />weekly to twice monthly. This results in the <br />elimination of 26 office visits for the remainder <br />of 1991. The cost for these office visits is <br />$125. <br />3,250.00 <br />P44 '2 9 <br />
