Mayor Hanson and Members of the City Council
February 8, 1991
Page 2
* Attorney's Fees
Adjusted budgetary figure based on revised
retainer agreement approved by City Council as
compared to budgeted amount.
840.00
* Park Consultant
This is a reduction of $10,000 from the $15,000
budgeted in the Park Department /General Fund. It
is my belief that Park Consultant costs associated
with projects should be charged as a part of
overall project costs and reimbursed by the park
development fund. Therefore, the $5,000 remaining
should be adequate to address general Park
Consultant fees. This has been confirmed by Jim
Morelan and Bill Sanders.
10,000.00
Recycling
We had budgeted $2,100 to help with promotion of
the recycling program. It is our feeling that the
$28,000 grant available from Ramsey County could
be utilized to cover these amounts and therefore
eliminate this budget item.
2,100.00
* Economic Development Consultant
This amount was budgeted in anticipation of
potential cost associated with consultant fees.
At this point in time, I see no reason to maintain
this line item given the City's policy of
requiring developer's to reimburse us for costs
associated with development review.
2,000.00
Page 30
