MINUTES
VACATION OF
PORTION OF
WOODLYNN AVE.
RIGHT -OF-
WAY
MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
PLANNING COMMISSION
LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA
FEBRUARY 14, 1991
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular
meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of
Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 14th day of
February, 1991 in the Council Chambers of the City
Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City.
Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at
7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission
were present at roll call:
MEMBERS PRESENT: Gene DeLonais
Dave Bendel
Gene DeLonais
Claudia Drabik
Steve Garkse
John Keis
MEMBERS ABSENT: Art Herkenhoff
ALSO PRESENT: Steve Grittman, City Planner
Kathy Glanzer, Recording Secretary
Gene DeLonais reported that Mr. Herkenhoff was not able
to be present this evening due to a death in the
family.
There being no corrections to the minutes of the
January 10, 1991 regular meeting, the minutes stood
approved as read.
The City Planner reviewed the proposal to vacate a
portion of the Woodlynn Avenue right -of -way due to
encroachment of Kath Bros. fuel tanks onto the
right -of -way. The Planner reported that when the
survey of the property was done initially, the wrong
line was assumed to be the property line of the Kath
Bros. property. The fuel tanks were then installed,
and when the as- builts were drawn the error was
discovered. If the right -of -way is vacated as
suggested, the encroachment problem will be eliminated.
Page 1
