Whenever any person, <br />association, or corporation, owning or operating any private <br />club or public place, obtains a permit from the State Liquor <br />Control Commissioner pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §340A.414, <br />such applicant shall be required to obtain a permit from the <br />City and the fee for such permit shall be Three Hundred Dollars <br />($300.00) for any one year or any part thereof expiring on the <br />subsequent July 1 next following the issuance of such license <br />and said permit must be renewed annually on July 1. <br />705.020. NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS. One -day permits may be <br />issued for the consumption and display of intoxicating liquor to <br />a nonprofit organization in conjunction with a social activity <br />in the City sponsored by the organization. The permit must be <br />approved by the State Liquor Control Commissioner and is valid <br />only for the day indicated an the permit. No more than ten <br />(10) such permits shall be issued in any one (1) year. The fee <br />for such permit shall be Five Dollars ($5.00) per year. <br />705.030. APPLICATION. Application for a bottle club <br />permit shall be made to the City Administrator. Such <br />application shall be based upon a pending application with the <br />Liquor Control Commissioner and the City Administrator shall <br />issue said license if he is notified by the Liquor Control <br />Commissioner that the Liquor Control Commissioner intends to <br />issue a license pursuant to Minnesota Statutes §340A.414. <br />705.040. INSPECTION. An establishment holding a permit <br />under this Section shall be open to inspection by peace officers <br />or other agents of the City during reasonable hours. <br />Intoxicating liquors sold, served or displayed in violation of <br />law may be seized and may be disposed of under Minnesota <br />Statutes §297C.12. <br />705.050. VIOLATION. Any person who exercises the <br />privileges provided by Minnesota Statutes §340A.414 without <br />first having obtained a permit of the City Administrator, as <br />provided in this Chapter, shall upon conviction be guilty of a <br />misdemeanor. <br />Section 6. <br />Chapter 706 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby added to read as follows: <br />706. DANCING AND ENTERTAINMENT LICENSE. <br />706.010. LICENSE REQUIRED. It shall be unlawful for any <br />person, firm or corporation licensed under this Chapter to <br />provide dancing, singing, or vaudeville performances or <br />-19- <br />Page 22 <br />
