Hanson
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Bill Blesener
Rick Collova
Jim LaValle
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
MEMORANDUM
TO: Mayor Ray Hanson and Members Of The City Council
FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator
DATE: February 7, 1992
RE: Pay Equity Report
Attached is a copy of the Pay Equity Implementation Report
we were required to submit to the State of Minnesota by
January 31, 1992. The job class information component of
the report was done utilizing the State job match books and
salary scales which had been discussed with the Council and
Employees in the Fall of 1990. Upon receipt of this
information the State will conduct statistical analysis to
determine if we are in compliance with pay equity
regulations. It may be several months before we hear the
result of their compliance review.
No problems are anticipated with compliance. However, due
to various statistical reviews, it may be possible that
corrections would be needed.
It is my recommendation that the Council adopt this report
as presented.
Page 15
