MINUTES <br />Parks & Recreation Commission <br />March 2, 2006 <br />The Director stated that the city does not pick up trash along the boulevard areas of the parks on <br />a daily basis. The Parks Maintenance crew does patrol the trails for trash on a daily basis during <br />the summer, but doesn't look at areas outside of the trails every day. There is a need for <br />someone to clean pond areas within the parks. When trash accumulates in these locations, the <br />city does not have the tools to access the floating trash. <br />Sanders asked if a nature study program is planned for this swnmer?
