PAUL, MN 55101 <br />(612)222 -8423 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 91 -293 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIR AND CHIEF <br />ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH <br />THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA TO RECONVEY <br />OWNERSHIP OF INTERCEPTORS <br />WHEREAS: <br />1. The Metropolitan Council has determined that some existing <br />interceptors are no longer necessary facilities of the <br />Metropolitan Disposal system; and <br />2. Commission staff has determined that a portion of <br />Interceptor 1 -LC -421 is no longer necessary for the <br />metropolitan disposal system; and <br />3. Commission staff has met with the City of Little Canada and <br />has negotiated a reconveyance agreement; and <br />4. The terms of the agreement provide that Interceptor 1 -LC -421 <br />is to be reconveyed to the City of Little Canada for the <br />amount of $1,753; and <br />5. The terms and conditions of the agreement will reconvey the <br />interceptor in its present condition and therefore, all <br />costs for repairs to the interceptor will be the <br />responsibility of the City of Little Canada; <br />BE IT RESOLVED, by the Metropolitan Waste Control Commission, as <br />follows: <br />1. A portion of Interceptor 1 -LC -421 is no longer necessary for <br />the metropolitan disposal system. The portion of <br />Interceptor 1 -LC -421 no longer necessary for the <br />metropolitan disposal system is described as follows: <br />From the connection of the Commission's Interceptor <br />near Centerville Road eastwardly to the Commission's <br />Interceptor 1 -LC -420 located on Keller Parkway. <br />2. The Chair and Chief Administrator are authorized to execute <br />a Reconveyance Agreement with the City of Little Canada in <br />Page 30 <br />
