Hanson <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Mayor Hanson and Members of the City Council <br />FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />DATE: April 3, 1992 <br />RE: Twin Lake Boulevard Shoulder Paving Agreement <br />Attached for your review is a shoulder paving agreement <br />from Ramsey County relative to Twin Lake Boulevard. You <br />will note that there is a change in County's policy <br />regarding the City's share of costs for shoulder paving. <br />Previously this amount was split 75% to the City and 25% to <br />the County. It will now be 100% City expense. <br />Another concern I have in adopting this agreement relates <br />to if doing so prior to holding an improvement hearing <br />prior to the adoption of this agreement. It is my <br />recommendation that we call for an improvement hearing for <br />this project should the Council wish to pursue paving of <br />the shoulders in question. The hearing should be held <br />prior to approving this agreement. The resolution to do so <br />is enclosed. <br />Page 22 <br />
