Section 6. Restricted Parking. After a two (2) inch snowfall,
there will be no parking on any City street until it is plowed to its
full width. Any person violating this portion of our Municipal Code
shall be subjected to ticketing and towing by the Ramsey County
Sheriff's Department. This is to facilitate plowing in an expedient
manner as well as having the streets plowed so that normal traffic
can resume.
Section 7. Property Damage. Any damage to sod or grassy areas
which are in the boulevard area will be repaired as time permits in
the Spring time. They will be filled with black dirt and seeded.
The City will replace a mailbox only when it is struck by the plow.
The City will not replace a mailbox if it is knocked over by the
force of the snow. If the mailbox is not set to standards as
specified by the post office (see the attached notice), the City
accepts no responsibility for any damage caused to the mailbox.
Section 8. Conclusion. This is a general snowplowing policy
which will be reviewed on an annual basis and upgraded or changed as
necessary. This policy will be used as a guideline to provide a
consistent level of service to all residents in the City of Little
Canada.
Adopted on the
day of , 1992.
-3-
Page 28
