MJNNESOTA SPIRITS
2680 Rice Street, Little Canada, MN 55113 • (612) 484 -1216
February 8, 1992
Dear City of Little Canada Council Members,
We the undersigned, representing majority /total ownership of
Tierney's Liquor, Moon Bay Liquor, and Minnesota Spirits
would like to formally request a temporary amendment regard-
ing "OFF SALE" operations. Specifically, we are interested
in opening our doors for business on the Fourth of July this
year for the following reasons:
1) Independence Day falls on a Saturday.
2) Most (if not all) surrounding stores will be open.
3) If we are not open, the result would be an obvious
loss of sales to outside areas, as well as a de-
crease in customer relations /loyalties.
We feel these reasons are important enough to warrant action
at least on a one -time basis. Reference on this matter can
be found in file #6749; Section 703.140 (2) dated January 15,
1991 titled Ligour and Beer Ordinances.
Thank you in advance for your considerations.
Sincerely,
Tierney's Liquor
Moon Bay Liquor
Page 5
Minnesota Spirits
/WX/L,„,
