The display area should also not block the existing sidewalk in <br />front of the building. At least three feet in width of the <br />sidewalk should remain unobstructed for pedestrian traffic. For <br />safety and visibility concerns, it is recommended that the display <br />area be no higher than to the bottom of the front display windows. <br />The salt displays located at the end of the pump islands do not <br />appear to affect traffic circulation on site. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Based on the preceding review, our office recommends approval of <br />the conditional use for outdoor sales and display, provided: <br />1. The applicant verify the exact location of the display area in <br />front of the store. <br />2. No sales area can protrude into any required parking stalls in <br />front of the store. <br />3. At least three feet in width of the front sidewalk remain <br />unblocked for pedestrian traffic. <br />4.
