SLUMBERLAND <br />CUP FOR <br />SEMI - TRAILER <br />PARKING <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JULY 9, 1992 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of <br />July, 1992 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Vice Chairman John Keis called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mrs. Claudia Drabik <br />Mr. Steve Garske <br />Mr. Art Herkenhoff <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />MEMBERS EXCUSED: Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary <br />Keis informed those present that the request for <br />Conditional Use Permit for the addition of semi - trailer <br />parking at the Slumberland site at 3060 Centerville <br />Road has been tabled until August at the request of the <br />developer. <br />The City Planner reported that Slumberland will be <br />redesigning the site plan for the semi - trailer parking, <br />therefore, have requested the delay. <br />Ms. Nina Costa appeared before the Commission and <br />reported that she had no objection to the proposal <br />provided that it was properly screened. Costa <br />indicated that she wanted to see any semi - trailer <br />parking screened with large evergreen trees so that <br />when she looks out her window, she cannot see the <br />trailers. <br />It was noted that Mr. Owen Hyland called to report that <br />he may not be able to attend the hearing, but wanted to <br />go on record as opposing the proposal. <br />Page 1 <br />
