MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION JULY 9, 1992 Herkenhoff recommended that the request for Conditional Use Permit for additional semi - trailer parking for Slumberland at 3060 Centerville Road be tabled until the August Planning Commission meeting. Motion seconded by Garske. Motion carried 6 - 0. MINUTES There being no corrections to the minutes of the June 11, 1992 meeting, they stood approved as submitted. CAMPANARO/ The City Planner pointed out that the Planning SALAK LOT Commission and City Council recently approved a COMBINATION property division for the Campanaro /Salak property located at Labore Road and County Road D. The Planner reported that the City has since been made aware that the property owner intends to sell Tract B as well as some adjacent property to a developer. Rather than place drainage and utility easements along all the boundaries for Tract B since lot lines will change when the property is later developed, the property owner would like to combine the property which will be sold into one lot. The necessary easements will be dedicated for this large lot. When the developer goes through the process of platting and developing this parcel, the City will then acquire drainage and utility easements along all the lot lines created as part of the new development. Pedersen recommended approval of the Campanaro /Salak property combination as described by the City Planner. Motion seconded by Carson. Motion carried 6 - 0. CUP FOR The City Planner explained that the next item on the OUTDOOR agenda is a joint application for Conditional Use SALES & Permit for outdoor sales and displays for Food N Fuel, DISPLAYS Fina Serve, and Rice Street Bike. The City contacted FOOD N FUEL various businesses to determine if they were interested FINA SERVE in permanent outdoor sales and displays, and proposed RICE STR. BIKE the joint application process to keep down the costs. Of those businesses contacted, only three decided to apply. Page 2
