Last June 26, the Council had <br />approved a preliminary plat for this property based on a variance <br />to permit a long cul -de -sac. This approval was contingent on <br />retention of a fifty foot right -of -way for utilities and future <br />road connection, a cash escrow for future improvement of the right - <br />of -way, and resolution of the access issue over the Fasciana <br />property. <br />A new developer, Heritage Development, is proposing to pursue this <br />plat. Since the previous approval was never final platted, that <br />preliminary plat expired. Heritage would like to have the <br />preliminary plat re- approved with a simultaneous final plat <br />approval, all completed in July. The Subdivision Ordinance permits <br />this process.
