No. 2017 1 lake or pond constitutes a boundary line within or of the plat, 2 a survey line shall be shown with bearings or angles and 3 distances between all angle points and their relation to a water 4 line, and all distances measured on the survey line between lot 5 lines shall be shown, and the survey line shall be shown as a 6 dashed line. The outside boundary lines of the plat shall close 7 by latitude and departure with an error not to exceed one foot 8 in 7,500 feet. All rivers, streams, creeks, lakes, ponds, 9 swamps, and all public highways and thoroughfares laid out, 10 opened, or traveled (existing before the platting) shall be 11 correctly located and plainly shown and designated on the plat. 12 The name and adjacent boundary lines of any adjoining platted 13 lands shall be dotted on the plat. 14 Sec. 12. Minnesota Statutes 1990, section 505.03, 15 subdivision 1, is amended to read: 16 Subdivision 1. On the plat shall be written an instrument 17 of dedication, which shall be signed and acknowledged by the 18 owner of the land. All signatures on the plat shall be written 19 with 20 full 21 what 22 what black ink (not ball point). The certificate shall be 30 sworn to before any officer authorized to administer an oath. 31 The plat shall, except in cities whose charters provide for 32 official supervision of plats by municipal officers or bodies, 33 together with an abstract and certificate of title, be presentee 34 for approval Lo the council of the city or town board of towns 35 wherein there reside over 5,000 people in which the land is 36 located; and, if the land is located outside the limits of any 10 Page 14
