MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION AUGUST 13, 1992 DeBace replied that it is possible the road will be lowered, but that is up to the City Engineer as part of his review of the area. DeBace reported that the property owner would like to get the property platted. Occupancy permits on any new home construction would probably be withheld until there was watermain available. DeBace anticipated that any home construction would not begin until April, and by that time the improvement process will have been completed. Mrs. Neamy asked what the cost of improving Vanderbie will be. DeBace reported that the City Engineer is working on a feasibility report for improvement of the area. That report will include cost estimates. Mr. Garske recommended approval of the Final Plat for Costa Estates Second Addition subject to the recommendations of the City Planner as contained in his report dated August 11, 1992. Motion seconded by Keis. Motion carried 7 - 0. KANDICE DeLonais reported that Loren Brueggemann has requested HEIGHTS III that consideration of his application for amendment to Planned Unit Development for Kandice Heights Phase III be postponed for two weeks, and that the Planning Commission hold a special meeting to consider the application at that time. The City Planner reported that Mr. Brueggemann is requesting that the matter be tabled since he does not have adequate control of the property at this time. DeLonais indicated that he was not in favor of holding a special meeting to consider this application, unless it is deemed necessary by the Mayor. Mr. DeLonais recommended that the application for Amendment to Planned Unit Development for Kandice Heights III be tabled until the September 10, 1992 regular Planning Commission meeting.
