The Industrial Park
District allows such storage as a conditional use with a number of
limiting conditions. Slumberland is currently subject to a
Conditional Use Permit which allows approximately nine trailer
parking spaces subject to adequate screening which was completed
some time ago. The current request would expand the trailer
parking area to approximately 30 spaces, all located along the
south line of the building.
ANALYSIS
The Industrial Park District allows semi - trailer parking by
Conditional Use Permit subject to the following conditions:
1. Parking area including stalls, drive aisles, and maneuvering
area, and in combination with storage area as defined in
Section 918.040.A, is equal to no more than seventy -five (75)
percent of the gross floor area of the principal structure or
twenty -five (25) percent of the lot area, whichever is less.
Page 14
5775 Wayzata Blvd. • Suite 555 • St. Louis Park, MN 55416 • (612) 595-9636-Fax. 595 -9837
