MINUTES <br />CONDITIONAL <br />USE PERMIT <br />SEMI - TRAILER <br />PARKING <br />SLUMBERLAND <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />AUGUST 13, 1992 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 13th day of <br />August, 1992 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mrs. Claudia Drabik <br />Mr. Steve Garske <br />Mr. Art Herkenhoff <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Bob Pedersen <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the July <br />9th regular Planning Commission meeting, those minutes <br />stood approved as read. <br />Eric Hageman, Hageman Construction, representing <br />Slumberland, appeared before the Commission requesting <br />approval of a Conditional Use Permit for the addition <br />of 21 semi - trailer parking spaces and 29 car spaces. <br />Hageman pointed out that Slumberland is proposing to <br />remove some existing green space adjacent to their <br />building to accommodate the addition of 29 car spaces. <br />For the proposed semi - trailer parking, fill material <br />would be added to the area which is currently in weeds <br />to build it up for the addition of this parking. <br />Keis asked if the semi - trailers would be coming in and <br />out, or if the parking was for long -term storage. <br />Hageman replied that the trailers would be coming in <br />and out. <br />Page 1 <br />
