MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION OCTOBER 8, 1992 Commission for a decision. DeLonais stated that he understands the property owners' frustrations, however, the Commission must make sure that the proposal complies with Code. DeLonais suggested that the applicant work with the City Planner prior to the October 28th meeting to get all the concerns ironed out. DeLonais pointed out that the City worked in good faith to try to get the area developed. Siebenaler pointed out that only raw land was developed by Brueggemann. DeLonais reported that the City approached 10 developers, and only Brueggemann was interested. Siebenaler felt that the City should then have let the property owners develop their property on their own. Siebenaler pointed out that they had developers interested in their property as had Mr. Rudy. Siebenaler pointed out the diversity of development in the area. Siebenaler felt it was the property owner's right to be able to sell their property. Siebenaler felt that something must be settled on Country Drive. Drabik suggested a special meeting so that the applicant could come back with a site plan. DeLonais indicated that the Planning Commission could act on the matter subject to a site plan being submitted prior to the Council meeting that was satisfactory to the City Planner. Garske stated that he had a problem with that. Garske felt that the Commission should review a site plan pointing out the effect of a development on neighboring properties. Garske stated that the purpose of the Planning Commission is to protect the City. DeLonais asked if there was anyone else from the general public who wished to comment on this matter. Bob Rudy, 2942 Condit, asked the hours that Precision Tree would be working. Olson replied that they would arrive at the business approximately 7:30 A.M., do 30 to 40 minutes of planning, with trucks leaving about 8:10 A.M.
