AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br />RAMSEY COUNTY AND LITTLE CANADA <br />FOR A SCORE FUNDING RECYCLING GRANT <br />This Agreement is made this day of , 1993, between <br />Ramsey County through the Public Health Department ( the "County" ) <br />and Little Canada ( the "Municipality "). <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, The County has established policies and plans supporting <br />curbside recycling as part of an overall waste abatement program; and <br />WHEREAS, The Municipality supports curbside recycling and has <br />established a mechanism for long term funding of a recycling program <br />serving residents of the Municipality which includes curbside <br />collection of recyclables; and <br />WHEREAS, The County will be collecting funding for recycling programs <br />from the State of Minnesota which, in part, provide for the funding of <br />recycling services; and <br />WHEREAS, The Municipality has established an in -house recycling <br />program pursuant to Minn. Stat. 115A.151; and <br />WHEREAS, The Municipality has requested funds from the County to <br />support its Municipality's recycling program; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, The County and Municipality mutually agree as follows <br />in consideration of the mutual promises and covenants contained <br />herein: <br />1. OBLIGATIONS <br />a. Reimbursement <br />1. The Municipality is obligated to provide curbside recycling for <br />at least four materials. <br />2. The Municipality is required to credit the County and the State <br />of Minnesota's SCORE fund as funding sources in any public <br />education materials. <br />3. The Municipality shall incur expenses for reimbursement by the <br />County in accordance with the budget,presented in Attachment A, <br />which is attached and incorporated into this Agreement. <br />Reimbursement is not to be requested for expenses reimbursed by <br />other sources. Proper documentation is required for <br />reimbursement. <br />Page 11 <br />
