TRANS AID $ ORG' FY REQ t VENDOR t TYPE TERMS <br />/ 4i/dl .31'37'S4 / 2900, / ■E1 / 3o ¥O V. / 02,346Y -067i / v / / <br />ccs / � `d��D / CC1 / CC2 / 6 CC4 SUF OBJ SEND <br />/ /y'oo a�td / 01 / 745 / <br />� / <br />I <br />TYPE OF -- % °A41 �5/o3 0201/ Ent'd by <br />Date Number <br />A44 <br />A45 <br />A46 <br />Date <br />Number <br />Ent'd by <br />. ,a <br />• '5E%7471/v <br />MINNESOTA RELEAF COMMUNITY FOREST PROGRAM <br />MATCHING GRANT AGREEMENT <br />THIS MATCHING GRANT AGREEMENT (hereinafter the Agreement) is entered into by <br />and between the State of Minnesota acting by and through the Commissioner of Natural <br />Resources (hereinafter Grantor) and City of Little Canada <br />(hereinafter Grantee). <br />WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Natural Resources has been granted funds by the <br />Commissioner of Administration under 1991 Minnesota Laws Chapter 254, Article 1, <br />Section 14, Subdivision 13(h), in order to provide matching grants for the Minnesota <br />ReLeaf Program established by Minnesota Statute { 88.82 (Supplement 1991); and, <br />WHEREAS, one of the purposes of the Minnesota ReLeaf Program is to increase the <br />ability of community forests to reduce atmospheric carbon dioxide and promote energy <br />conservation through tree planting, community tree preservation and improvement <br />activities; and, <br />WHEREAS, Grantee's application for funding its Minnesota ReLeaf project <br />(hereinafter referred to as the Project Proposal) has been approved by Grantor in the <br />amount of $ 20,200.00 ; and, <br />WHEREAS, Grantee has agreed to provide a cash or in -kind contribution of at <br />least 50% of the cost of the Project Proposal. <br />NOW THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />A. Grantor shall grant Grantee the sum of $ 20,200.00 to be used to <br />complete the work as outlined in Grantee's Project Proposal. This <br />Project Proposal shall become a part of this Agreement. Any changes in <br />the work must be submitted in writing and approved by Grantor prior to <br />the work proceeding. <br />B. Grantee shall be responsible for the planning, supervision, and <br />satisfactory completion of work specified in the Project Proposal and for <br />payment of all monies for work undertaken in accordance with the project. <br />C. REPORTS AND RECORDS <br />1. Annual Expenditure and Accomplishment Report <br />Grantee shall furnish the Grantor with a final accomplishment <br />report upon completion of the Project, but no later than May 31, <br />1993. It shall contain appropriate certification that all <br />completed work conforms with the specification of approved targets <br />in the Project Proposal or as amended in writing. <br />2.
