The drums are worn to the <br />point that it is not compacting the <br />asphalt properly and it has become <br />a hazard to operate. The drums for <br />replacement for a model that old <br />would not be cost - effective to <br />replace. The cost for two new <br />drums would be approximately $2,600. <br />This does not include bearing and <br />shaft work. To overhaul the roller, <br />it will cost $10,000 - 11,000. A new <br />roller comparable to what we now have <br />would be $15,500- 16,500. <br />Used Replacement Truck for 1980 <br />Ford Truck w/ Wing, Plow & Sander <br />Currently, our 1980 Ford is only <br />equipped with a sander. The front <br />end frame was not made to carry a <br />plow or a wing.
