MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
MARCH 11, 1993
Carson asked if the comp plan would address issues such
as fencing.
The Planner replied that this again is a zoning issue.
The comp plan would contain items such as a clear set
of policies dealing with issues facing the City that
redevelopment would bring. The current plan does not
address redevelopment at all. An updated plan would be
much more issue specific than the current plan.
Knudsen felt that the Commission needed a better
description of what the new plan would include.
The Planner suggested that he provide the Commission
with some model plans.
It was the consensus of the Commission to review the
comp plan in detail prior to the next meeting with the
intention of discussing the plan at that time. The
Planner will provide updated copies of the City's
zoning map as well as model comp plans for the
Commission's review.
MN RELEAF DeLonais reported that the City's MN Releaf Tree
TREE planting program is getting underway, with a mailing
PLANTING going out to residents within the next few days. As
PROGRAM part of the program, DeLonais reported that he
suggested at the Community Pride Meeting that trees be
planted along Rice Street from Minnesota Avenue to
County Road B.
CODE Carson suggested that there is still the need for
ENFORCEMENT enforcement of City ordinances by the Building
Official.
ADJOURN
Garske recommended the meeting be adjourned.
Motion seconded by DeLonais.
Motion carried 7 - 0.
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
Respectfully submitted,
Kathy Glanzer
Recording Secretary
n..,. n
