MINUTES
PLANNING COMMISSION
MARCH 11, 1993
DeLonais asked if the ordinance allowed for more than
one bingo hall in the City at any given time.
The Planner replied that the the ordinance only allows
one bingo hall. If a bingo hall license became
available in the City, then under the CUP the Market
Place could apply for that license.
DeLonais recommended that the Market Place Shopping
Center conditional use permit to allow a bingo hall
should a license become available be extended for a
period of one year.
Motion seconded by Carson.
Motion carried 7 - 0.
COMPREHEN- The City Planner reviewed his letter dated March 2nd to
SIVE PLAN Rick Jopke of the City of Roseville regarding zoning
regulation review. At
that meeting the committee decreased the funding for
updating the Comprehensive Plan to $6,000. The thought
was that rather than update the entire Comp Plan,
updating be limited to specific areas such as along
Rice Street, Little Canada Road, Country Drive and
Centerville Road north of Pioneer Park.
DeLonais asked about the updated zoning maps that the
Planner was to have available this evening.
The Planner reported that the maps are completed, but
apologized as he forgot to bring them this evening.
DeLonais felt that the first step in considering the
updating of the Comp Plan would be to review the zoning
Page 4
