Hanson
COUNCIL
Beverly Scalze
Jim LaValle
Steve Morelan
Bob Pedersen
ADMINISTRATOR
Joel R. Hanson
Cellular 1 has approached the City to relocate antennae
from the top of the water tower to underneath the bowl.
After looking at the lease we have with Cellular 1, it
states that they have to obtain City approval to perform
any type of work. The work they are proposing to do is
moving two antennae and not adding any. However, they will
be leaving the antenna mounts on top of the tower so that
they may renegotiate with the City when the lease comes up
to possibly add two more antennae.
According to the lease, Cellular 1 is responsible for any
costs incurred to repaint any portion of the tank which
gets disrupted during new antenna installation. The
antennae that are being moved will be painted to match the
color of the water tower so that they will not be
esthetically displeasing to view.
At this time, I recommend that Cellular 1 be permitted to
relocate their antennae as outlined above.
DBH:kpv
Page 59
