The Planner noted that the curb cut would have to be extended slightly to the west to accommodate that. Poehls asked if there has been any consideration given to the amount of traffic at the intersection. The City Planner reported that the City Engineer gets traffic counts every two years. The Planner also noted that the State was involved in the design of the intersection when the bridge was expanded. Garske asked if the Centerville Road curb cut could be moved further north to get it further from the intersection. Bob DeBace reported that when the intersection was reconstructed, the State Highway Department placed the curb cut. Therefore, he did not believe it could be moved. Carson suggested restricting the Little Canada Road access to right turns in and out. Carson recommended approval of the property division and recombination as proposed by John Gerten for property located at 303 Little Canada Road subject to construction of the Little Canada Road access with a "V" configuration allowing only right -hand turns in and out of the site, and subject to the recommendations as contained in the City Planner's report dated April 5, 1993. Motion seconded by Keis. Motion carried 6 in favor and 1 (Schletty) abstaining. Carson recommended the rezoning of property at 303 Little Canada Road from Residential (R -1) to Business (B -3) subject to the recommendations of the City Planner as contained in his report dated April 5, 1993. Motion seconded by Garske. Motion carried 6 in favor and 1 (Schletty) abstaining. WRIGHT David Wright appeared before the Commission reporting PROPERTY that he owns property fronting on the unimproved DIVISION portion of Costa Lane which is scheduled for construction this summer.
