MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />APRIL 8, 1993 <br />be designed so that only right turns in and out would <br />be allowed. The Planner noted that the curb cut would <br />have to be extended slightly to the west to accommodate <br />that. <br />Poehls asked if there has been any consideration given <br />to the amount of traffic at the intersection. <br />The City Planner reported that the City Engineer gets <br />traffic counts every two years. The Planner also noted <br />that the State was involved in the design of the <br />intersection when the bridge was expanded. <br />Garske asked if the Centerville Road curb cut could be <br />moved further north to get it further from the <br />intersection. <br />Bob DeBace reported that when the intersection was <br />reconstructed, the State Highway Department placed the <br />curb cut. Therefore, he did not believe it could be <br />moved. <br />Carson suggested restricting the Little Canada Road <br />access to right turns in and out. <br />Carson recommended approval of the property division <br />and recombination as proposed by John Gerten for <br />property located at 303 Little Canada Road subject to <br />construction of the Little Canada Road access with a <br />"V" configuration allowing only right -hand turns in and <br />out of the site, and subject to the recommendations as <br />contained in the City Planner's report dated April 5, <br />1993. <br />Motion seconded by Keis. <br />Motion carried 6 in favor and 1 (Schletty) abstaining. <br />Carson recommended the rezoning of property at 303 <br />Little Canada Road from Residential (R -1) to Business <br />(B -3) subject to the recommendations of the City <br />Planner as contained in his report dated April 5, 1993. <br />Motion seconded by Garske. <br />Motion carried 6 in favor and 1 (Schletty) abstaining. <br />WRIGHT David Wright appeared before the Commission reporting <br />PROPERTY that he owns property fronting on the unimproved <br />DIVISION portion of Costa Lane which is scheduled for <br />construction this summer.
