MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />APRIL 8, 1993 <br />expenses at a minimum. Wright also reported that he <br />has someone interested in purchasing the second lot and <br />anticipated that the transaction with the County would <br />be completed soon, although the County has given him <br />until January of 1994 to complete the transaction. <br />Wright reported that he would like to complete the <br />survey of the property, sell the first lot to Mr. <br />Hartmann, use some of the proceeds of this sale to <br />complete his transaction with the County and then <br />proceed with the sale of the second lot. Wright wanted <br />to complete the property division with the City this <br />month, and did not want to have to come back to the <br />City for additional approvals. <br />Schletty indicated that Mr. Wright could proceed with <br />his survey, the City just needs to be assured that <br />Wright will obtain ownership of the 30 -foot strip of <br />land, and that land will be combined with the second <br />lot. <br />The City Planner felt it was reasonable for the City to <br />prohibit construction access via the 30 -foot strip of <br />property. <br />Hartmann did not believe this to be an issue, again <br />pointing out his discussion with Frank Frattalone. <br />Schletty recommended approval of the property division <br />of land fronting on unimproved Costa Lane, specifically <br />the division of Lot 3 as presented by Mr. David Wright, <br />and the division of Lot 2 contingent upon the purchase <br />of the adjacent 30 -foot strip of land from Ramsey <br />County and combination of that strip with Lot 2 with <br />this to occur prior to the sale of Lot 2 and prior to <br />issuance of a building permit for Lot 2, and further <br />prohibiting any construction traffic on Lot 1, subject <br />to compliance with the recommendations of the City <br />Planner as contained in his report dated April 5, 1993. <br />Motion seconded by Keis. <br />Motion carried 7 - 0. <br />FASCIANA The City Planner reported that as part of the Jackson <br />PROPERTY Heights Plat, a 30 -foot strip of property was purchased <br />DIVISION from the Fasciana property in order to provide access <br />to the plat. The division of this strip from the <br />Fasciana property is necessary so that the Jackson <br />Heights Plat can be recorded.
