PI <br />1 „fly 4) t1.1 .WY PI <br />1+.11 V 4111. 19 <br />I've met with the City Administrator and the Public Works Superintendent regarding the <br />review of the Preliminary Utility Plan and the Preliminary Grading and Drainage Plan for <br />the Frederickshaven Second Addition, We have a number of concerns that must be <br />addressed for plan approval. <br />J'REL1MINARY I1JTtLITY PLAN <br />Sanitary Sewer <br />The existing 1511 RCP sanitary sewer is owned and maintained by the City, The sewer <br />segment within the development area is to be televised to determine the structural <br />condition of the pipe. An agreement must be negotiated with the City in regard to any <br />lateral or trunk assessment associated with its use. <br />An abandoned 1211 DIP force main lies in the vicinity of the 1511 RCP. The location of <br />the abandoned force plain should be indicated on the plans and should be plugged <br />where encountered during construction. You will need to vacate any easements that <br />may still exist for the forcemain. <br />You are to submit any correspondence with the MWCC regarding connection to the 6011 <br />MWCC interceptor sewer. We don't believe that the MWCC will allow service <br />connections to the interceptor. The City will not approve the plans indicating service <br />or lateral connections to the MWCC line without evidence that the MWCC will approve <br />the connections. <br />- Lot 10 may be further subdivided in the future, We request that you consider serving <br />Lot 10 by extending the sanitary sewer lateral from CB -M5 up the driveway easement. <br />Page 1 <br />2335 West Highway 36 • St. Paul, MN 55113 • 612 -636 -4600 <br />
