YOUTH: <br />5. Line dancing lessons - Ongoing sessions for seniors. <br />Held at the Market Place on weekday mornings. <br />Discontinued for summer months. <br />6. Square dancing - Two classes held this past spring. At <br />the old Fire Station basement on Tuesday mornings. <br />Classes will be offered again in the fall. <br />7. Trips - Twins games in cooperation with the Roseville Park <br />and Recreation Department. Four scheduled throughout the <br />summer. <br />8. Adopt -A -Park - Two groups are currently involved at <br />Pioneer Park, Gervais Mill Park and at the old Fire <br />Station. Others are being sought. <br />ATHLETIC <br />1. Summer fastpitch girl's softball - Ages eleven through <br />sixteen. Two teams presently, with expansion expected. <br />Teams play on either Monday or Wednesday at Pioneer <br />fields. <br />2. Golf lessons - Ages nine through fourteen. Two groups <br />currently enrolled with expansion expected. Friday <br />mornings in July at Gem Lake Hills. <br />NON - ATHLETIC <br />1. Babysitting safety - In conjunction with the American Red <br />Cross for boys and girls ages eleven and up. Eight hour <br />class held at City Hall on two consecutive Saturday <br />mornings in May. <br />2. Safety camp - In cooperation with Falcon Heights and <br />Roseville for children ages nine through eleven. To be <br />held in August at the Roseville Activity Center and <br />Northwestern College. <br />-2- <br />Page 84 <br />
