<br />Honorable Mayor and City Council:
<br />We have reviewed the site where 200 plus yards of fill material is to placed for construction
<br />of a 30 x 40 foot detached garage.
<br />Placement of fill material as proposed on this property will have no adverse impact on
<br />neighboring properties. The applicant should establish turf on the fill material if the garage
<br />is not to be constructed this year or as soon as possible upon construction of the garage for
<br />dust and silt runoff control, The applicant may also want to consider the installation of silt
<br />fence or hay bales on the low end of the fill material to prevent silt runoff onto other
<br />portions of the property.
<br />A fill permit is required from the City, The applicant should contact Cliff Eichinger of the
<br />Watershed District (Ph, 777. 3665) for comments.
