Hanson I have contacted both Jim Brimeyer and Government Training Services regarding Carl Neu to determine their availability for facilitating a Council /Staff goal setting session the first week on October. Jim Brimeyer reported that he is available Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of that week. Monday is also a possibility, although the other three days are preferable from his standpoint. Brimeyer is not available on Friday. If you will recall, Brimeyer quoted the City a range of $1,200 to $1,500 for facilitating a one -day goal setting session. Mary Sabatke of Government Training Service contacted Carl Neu. Neu indicated that he will be in the Twin Cities area some time in October, but was unsure at this point of the exact dates. Neu will be conducting sessions for the City of Mounds View and Scott County the week of September 13th, and would be available for a one -day goal setting session to Little Canada on September 14th. By scheduling a session when Mr. Neu has others in town, the City can share the cost of Mr. Neu's expenses. Sabatke indicated that expenses typically run about $1,000, therefore, if the City scheduled a session the same week as Mounds View's and Scott County's, the City would pay 1/3 of expenses. Carl Neu's charge for facilitating a one -day session has been quoted at $1,750 plus expenses. Again, there is the strong likelihood that Mr. Neu will be in town some time in October, however, no specific time frame has been determined. Page 1
