Little Canada City Council August 19, 1993 Page 2 license that is being applied for. It is not our intention to provide on -sale intoxicating liquor to our regular restaurant clientele. The intent behind the application is for what may be considered an on -going temporary liquor license for use only during such periods as the restaurant is closed to the general public and is being used solely for special events and private parties such as those detailed above. Thus, we are not asking for an on -sale license for use on a daily basis, but are merely requesting that such a license be in effect only on special occasions, which we would anticipate would occur approximately 35 dates per year. Again, during special events, the restaurant is closed to the general public and it is during these special events only for which we are requesting the on -sale license. On behalf of myself and all of our employees, we want to thank the members of the City Council for their consideration of our license request. We enjoy doing business in the City of Little Canada and look forward to the City Council's anticipated cooperation in allowing us to expand our growing business.
