MINUTES
CANADA
WOODS WEST
MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING
PLANNING COMMISSION
LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA
SEPTEMBER 9, 1993
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular
meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of
Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of
September, 1993 in the Council Chambers of the City
Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City.
Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at
7:30 P.M., and the following members of the Council
were present at roll call:
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais
Ms. Claudia Drabik
Mr. John Keis
Mr. Dan Knudsen
Mr. Fred Schletty
MEMBERS ABSENT: Mr. Dennis Carson
Mr. Steve Garske
ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Cary Teague, City Planner
Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary
There being no corrections to the minutes of the August
12, 1993 meeting, those minutes were approved as
submitted.
Kenneth Gust, representing the developers of Canada
Woods West, appeared before the Commission. Gust
reported that the proposal is for a 12 lot
single - family home development on a new cul -de -sac to
be developed off County Road D, just east of LaBore
Road. Gust reported that the property involved is low,
however, the lay -out as proposed seems to work.
Gust reported that the City's Public Works Department
is recommending that City utilities be obtained from
Little Canada. However, upon further review the MWCC
line at LaBore Road is not deep enough. In order to
connect to that line house pads at the end of the
cul -de -sac would have to be raised by 8 feet.
Page 1
