ORDINANCE NO. 377 <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING CHAPTER 603 <br />TO THE CITY CODE OF THE CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />ALLOWING LIMITED DEER HUNTING <br />WITH BOW AND ARROW BY PERMIT <br />The City Council of the City of Little Canada ordains: <br />Section 1. <br />Chapter 603 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby added to read as follows: <br />603. DEER HUNTING WITH BOW AND ARROW BY PERMIT <br />603.010 The City Council may issue permits authorizing <br />temporary deer hunting with bow and arrow. Said <br />permit shall be issued only during the deer season <br />for bow and arrow, or as authorized by the State of <br />Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and shall <br />only be issued to those who have written consent <br />from the property owner on a form approved by the <br />City. There shall be a permit fee of $25.00. The <br />City Council may limit hunting areas to protect the <br />public safety and welfare. <br />Section 2. <br />Section 1203.060 of the Municipal Code of the City of Little <br />Canada is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />1203.060. NOT APPLICABLE. This Chapter shall not apply to <br />police officers or other authorized personnel using <br />firearms or other weapons in the regular course of <br />performing their duties. This Chapter shall not <br />apply to bow hunting authorized by permit pursuant <br />to Chapter 603. <br />Section 3. <br />This Ordinance shall be in force and effect from and after its <br />passage and publication. <br />Passed by the City Council of Little Canada this Sth day <br />of December , 19 93 <br />ATTEST: <br />Joel R.
