MINUTES <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 9, 1993 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of <br />November, 1993 in the Council Chambers of the City <br />Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M., and the following members of the Council <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Ms. Claudia Drabik <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Fred Schletty <br />MEMBERS EXCUSED: Mr. Steve Garske <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Rec. Secretary <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of the <br />October 14, 1993 meeting, those minutes were approved <br />as submitted. <br />FENCING IN DeLonais reported that the present Code requires <br />RYAN IND. that outdoor storage in the Industrial District be <br />PARK screened with wooden fencing. The Commission was asked <br />to look at Ryan Industrial Park and determine whether <br />chain -link fencing would be an acceptable screening <br />material. <br />Knudsen reported that he visited Ryan Industrial Park <br />and there is a fair amount of chain -link fence already. <br />Knudsen reported that most of the chain -link fence <br />looked pretty good. Knudsen felt that the issue was <br />not just a fencing issue, but involved landscaping and <br />code enforcement as well. Knudsen pointed out that <br />some of the properties in the park were in fairly good <br />shape, while others were not.
