Hanson <br />As the Council will recall, when Improvement No. 89 -23, Country Drive <br />from South Owasso Blvd. to the Water Works Property, was assessed, <br />the assessments for certain properties along Country Drive were <br />deferred for a three -year period. At that time, the Council <br />anticipated that development in the area would continue. Since it <br />has not, it is the recommendation of the staff that the deferments <br />for these properties be extended indefinitely. <br />The property owners involved have been contacted, and the following <br />have requested the deferment extension: <br />Mr. Bill Quirin, Parcel No. 06- 29 -22 -41 -0005 - $1,427.05 <br />Parcel No. 06- 29 -22 -41 -0006 - $1,037.85 <br />Mr. and Mrs. Rice, Parcel No. 06- 29 -22 -41 -0003 - $2,594.63 <br />Staff has attempted to contact Mr. Bob Rudy, owner of Parcel No. <br />06- 29 -22 -14 -0006 - $4,065.79, however, has not been able to reach <br />him. it is my recommendation that the assessment deferral for Mr. <br />Rudy's property be extended as well. <br />One other property owner was involved in the deferment, that is Mr. <br />George Zender, Parcel No. 06- 29 -22 -41 -0004 - $2,594.63. Mr. Zender <br />has requested that the deferment not be extended realizing that the <br />assessment will begin to show up on his 1994 property tax statements <br />for payment. <br />Page 28 <br />
