Ramsey-Washington Metro <br />District <br />PERMIT <br />2225 White Bear Ave.. <br />Maplewood. Mn. 55109 <br />1612)779 - 2207 <br />Permission is granted to conduct grading operations in accordance with <br />the Rules and Regulations and Management Plan of the District for the <br />project Canada Woods West <br />owned by No. Suburban Development Inc. , District Permit No. 94 -04 , <br />subject to the following special provisions: <br />10. All storm sewer catch basins not needed for site drainage during <br />construction shall be covered to prevent runoff from entering the storm <br />sewer system. Catch basins necessary for site drainage during <br />construction shall be surrounded by a silt fence or double ring of <br />staked hay bales backed by snow fence. The fence or bales shall be <br />installed and maintained around all catch basins until the tributary <br />areas are restored. <br />11. Properly designed filter blanket and riprap shall be installed on the <br />downstream side of all storm sewer outlets. <br />12. All riprap shall be designed and installed with a filter material and <br />meet the Minnesota Department of Transportation specifications for <br />riprap and filter material. <br />13. A silt fence backed by snow fence shall be installed and maintained <br />directly downstream of all outlets. <br />14. The District Administrator, Cliff Aichinger (777- 3665), shall be <br />notified of the pre- construction meeting so he can arrange to attend <br />the meeting. <br />15. Low floor of homes or buildings adjacent to wetlands or water bodies <br />shall be a minimum of 2 feet above the critical event 100 -year flood <br />elevation for the respective wetland or water body as approved by the <br />District. <br />16. The toe of the silt fence shall be trenched in a minimum of 6 inches. <br />The trench backfill shall be compacted with vibratory plate compactor. <br />17. The proposed roadway alignment and home locations in the development <br />shall be adjusted to maintain a minimum of a 20 -foot buffer zone <br />between the back of the proposed homes and nearby wetland boundary on <br />all lots on the development. <br />The Board reserves the right to review and revise those special provisions <br />as circumstances may require.
