MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 11, 2013 <br />Blesener asked if the City would recoup its costs at the $120,000 figure. <br />The Administrator estimated that the City would, including the cost of loss <br />taxes. <br />The Administrator reported that he would include an article in the next <br />City newsletter offering the property for sale. He would submit that <br />article to the Council for final review before it is published. <br />MN DOT The Public Works Superintendent reported that as part of the Unweave <br />TEMPORARY The Weave project, MN DOT has identified a slope failure along the <br />EASEMENT- freeway. MN DOT is requesting a temporary easement through the <br />3100 City's Public Works Garage site at 3100 Country Drive to access the <br />COUNTRY slope area so that the needed corrections can be made. MN DOT will <br />DRIVE is adding a gate to the City's fenced yard area for access in and out. Once <br />the project is completed, the gate will be removed and the property <br />restored accordingly. The project work will take place in 2014. <br />Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -9 -163 — APPROVING A TEMPORARY <br />CONSTRUCTION EASEMENT FOR MN DOT AT 3100 COUNTRY <br />DRIVE TO ALLOW MN DOT ACCESS THROUGH THIS PROPERTY <br />TO CORRECT A FREEWAY SLOPE FAILURE, AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE EASEMENT DOCUMENT ON BEHALF OF THE <br />CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />TWIN LAKE The Public Works Superintendent reported that a property owner on Twin <br />ROAD — Lake Road has requested removal of the no parking signs. He noted that <br />NO PARKING signs were installed on one side of the street at the time that the road was <br />SIGNS only 20 feet in width. Twin Lake Road was reconstructed in 2004 at a 28- <br />foot width, and the Superintendent reported that there is no need to retain <br />these signs given the wider street. The Superintendent reported that he <br />sent the property owners a copy of the report on this issue, and in addition <br />to the property owner making the request; he received two emails from <br />other property owners supporting the removal of the no parking signs. <br />Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />9 <br />
