• Abatement work must be completed by no later than October 15, 2013 in order to <br />meet the timelines of the demolition contractor. Failure to complete the required <br />work by the stated date shall result in the imposition of liquidated damages of $400 <br />per day for each calendar day of delay. <br />• Payment shall be made in a lump sum within thirty (30) days of completion of the <br />work. The Contractor shall provide a copy of all records and reports filed with the <br />State of Minnesota relative to this project evidencing completion pursuant to <br />regulatory requirements. A certification of compliant abatement shall be made <br />available to the City or its assigns at the completion of the work. <br />• The successful contractor shall be responsible for utilizing abatement procedures as <br />they determine to be most effective, subject to compliance with all pertinent <br />regulatory requirements. <br />• The selected contractor is responsible for providing all notices to the appropriate <br />governmental authorities having regulatory oversight over the abatement activities. <br />• Each contractor submitting a quotation shall include the appropriate <br />certifications /licenses evidencing that they are legally qualified to undertake the <br />work in question. <br />• The Contractor shall confine his /her apparatus, the storage of materials, and the <br />operations of his /her workers to the site. <br />• The Contractor shall make his /her own arrangements for the use of toilet facilities by <br />him /her and employees. The Contractor shall discharge any workers creating a <br />nuisance on the premises <br />• The properties are available for on -site inspection during normal working hours (upon <br />request) by contacting the City of Little Canada at (651) 766 -4029. <br />• The attached "Abatement Quotation" form must be used to submit your quotation. <br />The price submitted must encompass all costs. The award will be considered based <br />on the lowest responsible quotation. The owner reserves the right to reject any and <br />all quotations and to make the award in its best interests. <br />• Quotations may be mailed, faxed, or e- mailed to the City of Little Canada.
