MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 25, 2013 <br />AGREEMENT RELATIVE TO MONTREAL COURTS AND <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO <br />EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RIGHT OF The City Administrator reported that Verison Wireless is exploring the <br />ENTRY possibility of constructing a cell tower on the City's property at 53 South <br />AGREEMENT Owasso Blvd. (the former Donovan property). There is currently a cell <br />FOR tower on the property, but Verison has done an engineering study of this <br />VERISON tower and determined that it cannot support additional carriers. There are <br />WIRELESS currently four carriers on the existing tower. Verison has requested a right <br />of entry agreement from the City so that it can study the feasibility of <br />constructing a second tower. If it determines it is feasible, and Verison <br />wants to pursue the second tower, they will have to make application for <br />the appropriate zoning approvals. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -9 -180 — APPROVING A RIGHT OF ENTRY <br />FOR VERISON WIRELESS FOR 53 SOUTH OWASSO BLVD. WEST <br />AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Boss. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Blesener asked about potential interference with the existing tower. The <br />Administrator stated that this would be a part of the analysis. 1 -le also <br />noted that he has informed Verison that a second tower would have to be <br />confined to an area near the first tower so as not to negatively impact the <br />future redevelopment of this area. <br />PREMISES The City Clerk reported that the Canadian Days Committee has made <br />PERMIT FOR application for a Premises Permit to sell pull tabs, tipboards, and conduct <br />LITTLE bingo at the Little Venetian effective October 1, 2013. The Clerk reported <br />VENETIAN that the application materials are in order. <br />SITE — <br />CANADIAN Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />DAYS <br />14 <br />
