MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 25, 2013 <br />CONSENT <br />AGENDA <br />Thein indicated that the District is proud of its students, families, and staff <br />as well as schools and the options that are offered. He noted that 70% of <br />kids are involved in some extra - curricular activity, and the District wants <br />to provide the opportunity for everyone to be involved in something. He <br />then presented pictures of the District staff as it existed in 1953 and again <br />in 2013. <br />Thein thanked the Mayor and Council for the opportunity to address them <br />this evening. The City Administrator thanked the District for the good <br />working relationship that the City has enjoyed with 623. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2013 -9 -169 — APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVING THE VOUCHERS; <br />*APPROVING AN APPLICATION TO CONDUCT EXCLUDED <br />BINGO AT ST. JOHN'S CHURCH ON OCTOBER 27, 2013 AND <br />NOVEMBER 24, 2013; <br />*APPROVAL OF OVERHEAD SERVICE FORM WITHXCEL <br />ENERGY AND EXPENDITURE OF $5,747.94 FOR THE LITTLE <br />CANADA ROAD IMPROVEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE <br />MAYOR AND CITY ADMINISTRATOR TO EXECUTETHE FORM <br />ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; <br />*APPROVAL OF SENIOR ASSESSMENT DEFERMENT FOR 132 <br />DEMONT AVENUE, UNIT 224, AS REQUESTED BY THE <br />PROPERTY OWNER; <br />*CALLING A WORKSHOP MEETING FOR WEDNESDAY, <br />OCTOBER 23, 2013 AT 6:00 P.M. TO REVIEW THE CAPITAL <br />IMPROVEMENT BUDGET AS WELL AS OTHER BUDGET <br />TOPICS; <br />*CALLING A WORKSHOP MEETING FOR WEDNESDAY, <br />OCTOBER 9, 2013 AT 6:00 P.M.
