MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
MAY 12, 1993
JOHNSON
FILL PERMIT
RENEWAL
OF
CONSUMPTION
& DISPLAY
LICENSE
LITTLE
CANADA
RENTAL HALL
Hanson reported that he discussed the Johnson fill
permit application for property located at 2750 Noel
Drive with Mr. Johnson. Due to the removal of trees as
part of the Gervais Mill Park project, it is Johnson's
desire to repair some erosion which has occurred on his
property. Hanson also reported that it is Johnson's
intent to clean up the hill site of his property since
it is now more exposed, and to screen the property with
some fencing once the filling is completed.
Council reviewed the recommendations of the City
Engineer on this matter as outlined in his letter dated
May 6, 1993. It was the consensus of the Council that
these recommendations should be placed as a condition
of the permit, with the Building Inspector to ensure
that there is compliance. Council also asked that the
City Administrator follow up on this matter.
Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 93 -5 -122 - APPROVING THE JOHNSON FILL
PERMIT APPLICATION FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2750 NOEL
DRIVE SUBJECT TO COMPLIANCE WITH THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF
THE CITY ENGINEER AS OUTLINED IN HIS LETTER DATED MAY
6, 1993
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Scalze.
Ayes (5) LaValle, Scalze, Morelan, Hanson, Pedersen.
Nays (0). It was reported that Sheriff's
Department checks are satisfactory and the appropriate
liquor liability insurance certificate has been
submitted.
Mrs. Scalze introduced the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
RESOLUTION NO. 93 -5 -123 - APPROVING THE RENEWAL OF A
CONSUMPTION AND DISPLAY LICENSE FOR THE LITTLE CANADA
RENTAL HALL AT 433 EAST LITTLE CANADA ROAD
The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle.
Ayes (5) Scalze, LaValle, Hanson, Morelan, Pedersen.
Nays (0).
