MINUTES <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />MAY 5, 1994 <br />ADJOURN <br />both the Brown property as well as the Olson property <br />at 615 East Viking Drive. Water main had previously <br />been petitioned for on Viking Drive. Since Viking <br />Drive has assessable properties on only one side, a <br />water main project on this street will be difficult. <br />It may be possible to combine such an improvement with <br />another project in order to gain an economy of scale to <br />bring the cost of the improvement down. Construction <br />may be possible in 1995. <br />Carson recommended approval of the Brown property <br />division as requested, subject to compliance with the <br />recommendations of the City Planner as contained in his <br />report dated May 2, 1994, subject to satisfactory sewer <br />connections for the new lot to be approved by the <br />Public Works Superintendent, and subject to execution <br />of a Waiver of Right to Appeal Special Assessments <br />should a water main project be approved for Viking <br />Drive. <br />Motion seconded by Garske. <br />Motion carried 4 - 0. <br />Carson recommended that the meeting be adjourned. <br />Motion seconded by Garske. <br />Motion carried 4 - 0. <br />There being no further business, the meeting was <br />adjourned at 5:40 P.M. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kathy Glanzer <br />Recording Secretary <br />2 <br />
