• Minutes <br />City Council <br />June 28, 1989 <br />yG <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89 -6-266 - APPROVING THE MINUTES OF THE JUNE 14, <br />1989 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS AMENDED. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Blesener <br />Ayes (4) <br />Nays (0) <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />Announce- <br />ments Mr. Fahey announced that there would be a total sprinkling ban <br />in the City of Little Canada from July 31, 1989 until <br />approximately October 1, 1989 while the City water tower is <br />being repaired. The residents should not be installing sod or <br />planting seed during this time. <br />Mr. Fahey announced that there will be a Facilities report at <br />9:00 tonight in regard to the acquisition of land for the new <br />Fire Hall in the City. <br />Mr. Fahey announced that there will be an Economic Development <br />meeting Thursday morning at 7:30 a.m. at City Hall. The public <br />is invited. <br />CUP <br />Stafki <br />Mr. Fahey announced that there will be a workshop on July 18, <br />1989 with our Auditor, Bob Voto, regarding our 1988 audit. <br />Mr. Fahey opened the Public Hearing concerning the Conditional <br />Use Permit applied for by Edward Stafki to grant outdoor sales <br />of produce at the Venetian Inn parking lot. <br />Mr. Stafki was not present. <br />Mr. Grittman stated that there have been a few complaints about <br />flower sellers, and outdoor sales are allowed only by a <br />conditional use permit. A letter was written to several of the <br />property owners, and Mr. Stafki received a copy of the letter <br />from the Venetian Inn. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89 -6 -267 - CLOSING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE <br />STAFKI CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Mr. Fahey <br />Ayes (4) <br />Nays (0) <br />Resolution declared adopted. <br />'age 2 <br />Page 72 <br />
