after a construction contract has been executed. 1.3.4. Assist the City in obtaining all necessary approvals, permits and licenses from the Minnesota Department of Transportation, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, Minnesota Department of Health, Metropolitan Waste Control Commission, Ramsey County Public Works Department, United States Corps of Engineers, Ramsey- Washington Watershed District and all other agencies and bodies having jurisdiction of any phase of the Project. 1.3.5. Assist the City in obtaining legal descriptions and a set of plans, half- section maps, plat maps or sketches which depict the permanent and temporary easements and rights -of -way needed for implementation of the Project including preparation of right -of -way and easement descriptions. 1.3.6. Arrange for making of all required sub - surface exploration and additional soil tests necessary to supplement those performed in the Preliminary Report Phase, subject to consultation with City staff. 1.3.7. Advise the City as to the necessity of obtaining services in addition to those furnished by the Consultant under this Agreement, including the types of services described in SECTION 2, "ADDITIONAL SERVICES ", and if concurred with and authorized in writing by the City, the Consultant shall assist the City in obtaining such services. 1.3.8. Prepare a statement of the Consultant's opinion of the Construction Cost for the Project in an itemized manner based upon designs established to this point. 1.3.9. Furnish copies of design calculations, sheets and maps when requested by the City. 1.3.10. Be responsible for the completeness and accuracy of, and correct at its own expense, all errors and omissions in field surveys, calculations, designs and studies performed by the Consultant, on which the plans and specifications are based, which may be discovered during the -4- Page 169
