Northwest Associated Consultants, Inc. <br />U R B A N P L A N N I N G • D E S I G N • M A R K E T R E S E A R C H <br />PLANNING REPORT <br />TO: Little Canada Planning Commission <br />FROM: Cary Teague /Stephen Grittman <br />DATE: 12 July 1994 <br />RE: Little Canada - ABRA Auto Body Repair - <br />Text Amendment and Conditional Use Permit <br />FILE NO: 758.09 - 94.17 <br />Background <br />ABRA Auto Body has requested an amendment to the text of the Little <br />Canada Zoning Ordinance which would allow the inclusion of "light" <br />auto body repair in the definition of "Minor Auto Repair ". <br />Currently, only such uses as tire and battery, oil change, or <br />muffler shops are considered as minor auto repair. Minor auto <br />repair is allowed as a Conditional Use in the B -2 and B -3 <br />Districts. All auto body work is included in "Major Auto Repair ", <br />and such uses are permitted only in the I -1» Light Industrial <br />District.
