MINUTES <br />ZONING TEXT <br />AMENDMENT & <br />CUP - ABRA <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />AUGUST 11, 1994 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular <br />meeting of the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the llth day of <br />August, 1994 in the Council Chambers of the City Center <br />located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chairman Gene DeLonais called the meeting to order at <br />7:30 P.M. and the following members of the Commission <br />were present at roll call: <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Mr. Gene DeLonais <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Denny Davison <br />Mr. Steve Garske <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />MEMBERS EXCUSED: Mr. Fred Schletty <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Scott Richards, City Planner <br />Mrs. Kathy Glanzer, Admin. Asst. <br />There being no corrections to the minutes of July 14, <br />1994 regular meeting, those minutes stood approved as <br />submitted. <br />Mr. Jim Benson, The Chase Company, appeared before <br />the Commission representing Abra Auto Body & Glass. <br />Benson pointed out that Abra is requesting approval of <br />a Zoning Text Amendment to define minor auto body <br />repair as a conditional use in the B -2 and B -3 Zoning <br />Districts, as well as a Conditional Use Permit for auto <br />body repair in the B -3 District in order to construct <br />and operate a 6,848 square foot retail facility on the <br />Schroeder property on Rice Street. <br />The City Planner reviewed both his July 12th and August <br />5th reports pertaining to this application summarizing <br />the recommendations and options contained in these <br />reports. The Planner also reviewed the B -2 and B -3 <br />Zoning Code and the conditions that are listed in the <br />Code which relate to auto - oriented businesses.
